Win tickets to Sewing for Pleasure, Hobbycrafts and Fashion, Embroidery & Stitch!!

Between 21-24 March, Birmingham NEC will once again play host to three wonderful creative shows.

This year the show will include a selection of costumes that have featured in some of the most famous Jane Austen adaptations including the BBCโ€™s Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth (they have the white shirt!).

Sewing for Pleasure features more than 150 stalls filled to bursting with irresistible products, inspiring displays and expert advice.

For those interested in โ€˜Make Do and Mendโ€™ a visit to the Sewing Hub is a must. Experts are on hand to give valuable advice and practical workshops.

After all that you can pop into the second show Fashion, Embroidery and Stitch where you can enjoy free catwalk shows throughout the day.

Finally a trip across to Hobbycraft where you can indulge in workshops covering everything from beadwork, jewellery making, stamping, card making, embossing, pyrography and papercraft.

To top it all you can even visit for free if you are one of the 10 lucky winners of our latest competition.

We have 10 pairs of tickets which gives you access to all three shows to giveaway.

  1. Hello xx

I would like to win, I used to go every year (arthritis permitting) but now I have to have someone go with me to push the wheel chair and reach things/carry stuff, so it’s expensive. I make dresses for my little girl and stitch sculptured dolls and would like to see what’s new x

  2. Hi,

I would love to go, I haven’t been for years due to work comitments. I teach sewing to underprivilaged children 3 evenings a week, just basic sewing. It would be lovely to see what’s new.

    Regards

    Andie

  3. Ooh how lovely it would be to win some tickets to this not been in ages and just starting my 7 year old on cross stitch and crochet.

  4. I would love tickets. I get inspired by seeing the beautiful crafts and at the show you get opportunities to speak to some of the people who have made them.

  5. I have work that weekend but I would give the ticket to my mum! Hopefully she would buy something nice there for me… love crafting!

  6. Have just finnished the Cross stitch that I bought last year, so am in need of something to sew, or knit. Feeling the pinch this year, so think I shall have to give it a miss, that’s if I don’t win! Regards from one hopeful pensioner.

  7. Would love to win ๐Ÿ™‚

Have liked your Facebook page and also followed Abi and Anne on Twitter ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I’d like to win for my mum, since retiring she’s redound her love of sewing and she’d be able to stock up the newly transformed spare room ‘sewing room’ and get lots of ideas for new things to make.
I saw this as I follow you on twitter.

  9. I am looking after my post-stroke husband and have discovered embroidery to relieve boredom and stress, it is WONDERFUL therapy and I recommend it to anyone who can [or even can’t] thread a needle.
