Animatazz Competition!

It’s been awhile since our last competition. But never fear we are going to make up for that indiscretion in style today. Because we are giving one lucky entrant a copy of Animatazz courtesy of Drumond Park.

Three, two, one… ACTION!

It’s movie time, and here’s the latest blockbuster from Drumond Park – now children can make their own animated films with brilliant new Animatazz! They create their own ‘film stars’ out of colourful modelling clay placed on jointed plastic body forms, then photograph them in a series of positions, with a digital camera. Next, the pictures can be uploaded onto a PC or laptop, edited – and voices or sound effects can be added too. They then share their masterpieces with friends and family by email, or post them on YouTube or Face Book. It’s fan-animatazz-tic!

If you’ve ever watched a stop motion animation such as Wallace & Gromit you’ve probably fancied giving animation a try. When I was small I tried to animate a teddy bear using an old camera. But it’s time consuming are hard to accomplish on your own. But with this great kit you have everything you need to make your own animated movies. It would be a great activity for adults and children to share together!
